The composer writes:
"Duncan Celebration was originally composed in 2011 as part of the Boston Brass quintet’s “Fanfares” project, in commemoration of their 25th Anniversary. It was premiered on January 12, 2012 by the Boston Brass at the Duncan Theatre in Lake Worth, Florida, which was also celebrating its 25th year of operation. The piece was ultimately expanded to brass band, receiving its inaugural performance on June 28, 2015 by the Orchid City Brass Band at the First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach, Florida, under the baton of the composer, David Gibble."
